Dancer Rules

CHEROKEE HOMECOMING
1. All Dancers must be registered before the first Grand Entry on Saturday.
2. Deadline for registration is 12:45 PM on Saturday.
3. Dancers must meet all Grand Entries.
GRAND ENTRIES:
SATURDAY 1:00 PM
SATURDAY 7:00 PM
SUNDAY 1:00 PM
4. Competition and Exhibition Dances will be as follows:
COMPETITION DANCE CONEST - Registered Dancers Only
JR. BOYS / JR.GIRLS / TINY TOTS SATURDAY 1:40 PM TO 4:45 PM
MENS / LADIES DIVISION SATURDAY 7:30 PM TO 10:00 PM
EXHIBITION DANCING - Open To All Dancers in Regalia
ALL DIVISIONS / CATEGORIES SUNDAY 1:40 PM TO 6:00 PM
5. Any Dancer, while competing in competition dance, who drops an Eagle feather from his/her regalia will be automatically disqualified from competition.
6. Un-sportsman like conduct is an automatic disqualification from competition.
7. Dancers may enter in only one category.
8. Dancers should wear the specific regalia of their particular category.

9. For each category: first (1st), second (2nd), and third (3rd) places will receive the prize money allotted for that category and placement.
If two (2) or more dancers have the same number of points, a dance off will be held, until all are eliminated, except one (1).
10. Following point system will be used:
GRAND ENTRY............4 POINTS
1ST PLACE..................7 POINTS
2ND PLACE.................6 POINTS
3RD PLACE.................5 POINTS
EXHIBITION..................3 POINTS
SPOT CHECK.............2 POINTS
DANCE OFF “Winner” 1 POINT
